COMMUNICATION CABLES can enter the top or bottom of the UPS. Connection area is recessed below an acrylic cover so all cables are below the top panel skin. No front access is required. No requirement to go into bypass or shutdown power to access this area.

Optional BACK FEED DISCONNECT (BFD) isolates back feed voltage from the upstream source, eliminating the need for a shunt trip accessory in the external upstream back feed breaker.

CONTINUOUS DUTY STATIC SWITCH with dual speed thermostatically controlled AC centrifugal fans. This robust static switch has a high overload capability and works in conjunction with Liebert EXL S1 controls to provide fast transfers (<2 ms) from ECO mode.

SINGLE INPUT JUMPERS provide simple solution to single input applications.
MONITORED DC VARIABLE SPEED FANS (100,000 hour life) provide efficient front to top cooling. Liebert EXL S1 will continue to operate at full load after a fan failure depending on temperature and loading.
